This winter, both Sweden and Denmark took up the fight against the respiratory illness RS-Virus.
While Swedish authorities decided to offer all newborns protective antibodies against RSV, Denmark chose to also offer vaccines to the pregnant mothers.
Either way, the numbers are pretty clear: In Sweden, The Publich Health Agency reports that the number of children under six months who needed hospital care decreased by approx. 82 percent.
